iSAP Service Details

iSAP Service is a mobile-first application designed to support service engineers. It works with the SAP Business One service module and allows users to extend its functionality onto the mobile platform.
The applications provide engineers with a virtual ‘van-warehouse’ assigned to individuals with all available parts visible for review or use.
Users simply log into the application each day using a unique log-in. Credentials are stored in HR, meaning no separate SAP licenses are required. Once logged in, the engineer will start the daily timer and perform the vehicle check survey.
The company fleet manager defines the vehicle survey questions, and they can be bespoke and modified. When the vehicle survey is done, the engineer goes to the service call module and sees the list of service calls assigned to him. Then, using internal navigation/map features, the engineer will drive to the site and start the service job. The service call details are displayed on the screen, and engineers can update the service call categorisation and applied solutions. When ready, users can start the job-timer for each job (for example, if the user needs to charge customers separately). Once they have completed their assessment, engineers can complete any repairs and select any spare parts required. Users can choose parts in their ‘van-warehouse’ or add parts needed to the list and mark it as ‘quotation needed’ or raise a Sales Order in SAP.
Finally, after completing the service call, the engineer can generate the “service call report” summary document and ask for the customer signature. Then, the service call can be closed and sent back to SAP Business One. The engineers can then send the service report via email or print using AirPrint. Once the service call is sent back to SAP, the application can initiate and automate tasks such as service call updates, sales order creation, create journal entries and time-sheet updates. All listed activities can be tailored to the business needs.
